My name's René, I'm a Brisbane based wedding musician and DJ. I provide professional live music tailored to your wedding from start to finish — ceremony, canapés, reception, and DJ sets. With over 10 years of experience performing around the world, I’ve played everything from intimate weddings to stadium shows.

Every wedding I play is completely tailored. I’ll learn up to two special songs just for you, cover everything from chilled acoustic vibes to high-energy DJ sets, and handle all sound, lighting, and setup across multiple locations.
We’ll chat beforehand so I can get a feel for your taste and make sure the soundtrack fits your day perfectly. If you’re after someone with experience who lives and breathes live music, reads a crowd instinctively, and delivers every song with heart — we might just be the perfect fit!

Live music provided for your ceremony, canapés, and part of the reception

- Live music to cover every part of your ceremony - before, during, and after

- Up to two special song requests, learnt and performed live
- Professional sound and lighting setup (where applicable)
- Wireless microphone available for your celebrant or speeches
- Multiple setup locations to suit your day’s flow (when required)
- Travel within Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast included
- Pre-wedding music consultation to personalise the soundtrack

Can you learn a specific song for our ceremony?
Absolutely! I will happily learn 1-2 songs for your aisle or first dance.
Do you use backing tracks or is everything live?
Everything is live and on the fly! I curate what I'm going to play based on the audience and feel of the room.
Do you play covers?
Yes of course. I have a repertoire of over 250 songs and always get complimented on my range of genres and music. I describe my set as 'something for everyone'. If you'd like me to perform originals as well let me know!
How far in advance should we book you?
As a rule of thumb 6-12 months in advance is standard for weddings... but if you're late to the game flick me a message anyway. If I'm free I'll be there even if it's the week before!
How much do you charge and what's included?
I have 3 packages to choose from, flick me an email for a quote. I also require a 10% deposit to lock it in, and a discount for cash payments.
Is there anything I need to provide?
A nice shady spot to perform your ceremony if it's outdoors, and if you book me for my full day package please put me down for a meal! I will also need wifi/service for DJ services... I've never come across a venue that doesn't but always good to double check!
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! In fact I really enjoy travelling for weddings. There is more planning involved but it is really fun to do.
